I am looking to increase the bandwidth of our firewall, a pix 520. I currently have a 100Mb interface and wondering what options there were as far as gigabit interfaces or adding some more 100MB interfaces to help carry the load.

The PIX 520 can't take a GigE card, only the 525's and 535's can use those. You can certainly purchase a 1 or 4 port 10/100 card for the 520 though and install that, giving you more interfaces.

Keep in mind this won't increase the throughput of the PIX though, to do that you'll need to upgrade to the 525 and 535 models.
