IDS Host Sensor question - URGENT (thanks)

Hi there,

Is it possible to scheadule an HIDS service to work in passive mode for a period and to work in active mode for other period ?!?

One costumer of mine asked for this, as they don't have any personnel during the weekend and so...they want to leave the HIDS in active mode (bloking anything out of the ordinary) uring the weekend ?!?! tks

You can change the state of the agent to whatever you want. You can have it ON-Protecting where the agent blocks attacks or ON-Warning where it only logs the attacks.

I don't know why your client wouldn't want it in Protecting mode all the time.
