hi
i have a beta of the new MDC for IDS and i have an old IDSM 2.5 and and i integrated it in the MDC but i need to be in release 3.0 and i don't have a cspm to update it
Is it possible to update the idsmm directly without CSPM (i don't want to set a nt server only for this ) to 3.0 and to integrate it on MDC ?
thanks for your helps

Your IDSM will have to be upgraded to 3.0(5)S23.
To upgrade from your current version of 2.5 you will have to re-image your application partition with the 3.0 base image (3.0(1)S4 Cab files), and then upgrade to the 3.0(5)S23 Service Pack.
This upgrade can not be done through CSPM instead it has to all be done manually.
So NO you do not have to setup an NT server and load CSPM in order to just update the IDSM.
To upgrade follow the steps from this link, but ignore steps 3 and 5 since you aren't using CSPM or Unix Director:
