lat, mop and other transport protocols

Does anyone know how one could disable use of any transport protocols besides telnet and ssh?

Specifically, are lat pad v120 mop telnet rlogin udptn nasi enabled by default on router or switch?

I know on con, aux and vty lines you can

use commands transport input , output and preferred

to limit what transport protocols can be used for port access.

I also know you can use the no enable mop command on interfaces.

However, is it necessary to do do no enable <service> type commnands, global or interface level to turn these services off?

Are the off by default?

I've researched this topic for a few weeks now

and I am still not satisfied with what I have found.

In short...how do I disable lat pad v120 mop telnet rlogin udptn nasi.

And are the disabled by default?

Thank you!!

The transport protocols you mention are enabled by default. The simple and effective way to limit transport protocols is with commands you listed of transport input telnet ssh and transport output telnet ssh.

These two commands are all that is required to restrict transport protocols to the terminal line ports (vty, aux, con). The other options you mention including interface commands are not necessary to protect the vty ports.
