Max practical limit with CW SIMS (netforensics)

With CiscoWorks VMS IDS MC responsible for configuring sensors, and SIMS responsible for a scalable architecture for alert monitoring and reporting, what is the practical limit for max number of Network IDS sensors?

For instance, is two thousands sensors practical?

Hi Jeff,

There is no such limit, as far as I know, but the performance will deteriorate considerably as you increase the number.
