I have to PIX-515 devices that were running 6.3(5) and I wanted to update them to 8.0(4) to use the newer features. Both have 16mb of flash and 64mb of DRAM.
One of the PIX upgraded to 7.2(4) and then to 8.0(4) successfully with no issues. The other seems to have a corrupted flashfs now.
I see the reference on the 7.x upgrade documentation abuot a file called erasedisk.bin but I haven't been able to locate it on CCO. Is there any other method? I tried booting to 8.0(4) from TFTP and running the downgrade back to 6.3(5) but that is failing now as well. I can't find any versions that will load from TFTP and boot successfully.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Nathan
