Port Security Cisco 1861

Recently we've installed Cisco 1861 at our company.

But we've problem to secure our port due Cisco 1861 series doesn't support port security feature.

Any advice?

What are you attempting to do? Port Security has a bunch of features so is there anything specific you are looking to do? Limit multiple mac addresses on a port, filter mac addresses, attempt to identify spoofed mac addresses?

Hi Derek,

As per company regulation. I want to :

- Limit mac-address (just 1 for access vlan, and 1 for voice vlan)

- Disable/Shutdown port for unknown mac-address

this router support port security and QOS features in the 8 port POE module. Provide me the list of commands which you are trying to add, was there any error messages from the console while you tried the commands?

as inform from amvarana : 1861 does not support port security features.
