I have two Win2k servers running ACS 3.0 (evaluation). I have configured one as primary and the other as the backup. When I try to replicate I get the following error in the CSAuth log: on the primary server. I am using the ACS database.

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:26 A 5041 3232 DBReplicate thread kicked..starting sync.

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:26 I 0312 3232 Varsdb:All ODBC workers closed OK

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:26 I 0312 3232 Varsdb:DLL shutdown complete

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:26 E 0949 3232 Comms lib:CSBackupRestore(OUT) cannot copy file CSAuth\user.dat

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:26 E 0949 3232 Comms lib:CSBackupRestore(OUT) cannot copy file CSauth\user.idx

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:26 E 0949 3232 Comms lib:CSBackupRestore(OUT) cannot copy file CSauth\varsdb.mdb

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:27 E 1658 3232 DBReplicate(OUT) cannot backup sync aborted

AUTH 11/13/2002 16:57:27 I 0312 3232 Varsdb:Kicking off 1 ODBC workers

I have tried selecting only the Password validation settings and that worked. Since the application created the user and group files I believe it has permissions to read and write the files. Are there additional permissions required for replication?

Looks like bug CSCdw22345, since I actually upgraded from 2.6 on one of the servers.
