Is it possible to do SSH to a Catalyst 6506 switch with dual supervisor modules with Routing on them? The current software rev on the ios side is
12.1(3r)E2, I know the required rev is at least
12.1(1)T, but it doesnt say the sup modules are supported. Any idea if its supported?

You need a 3DES license and Cat crypto software to have ssh functionality. You could also implement, or buy, a console server with SSH feature set which would give you added security and availabilty to access your systems.

Yes, I have just set it up not too long ago. Call the TAC and they can tell you the link to fill out the 3DES form and then from there you can download the 3DES IOS.
