SSL Acceleration

Is it possible to use VAC to do SSL acceleration???

I need SSL acceleration to offload SSL processing from Web servers. I know that there are some module and specialized hardware to do this. But, I thought if the SSL and IPSec use the same algorithms (SHA,MD5, DES, 3DES) I can use the same accelerator card to do both IPsec and SSL acceleration.
