SSL in IDSMC

Hey guys,

I enabled SSL in IDSMC and now can't get Event Monitor to return any results. The window that opens after submitting the time frame for the alerts has the status line of "load: class com.cisco.nm.mdc.ids.monitor.evs.applaet.JApplet1 not found."

Thanks,

Darren

It looks like that java class file/applet is not accessible via ssl. This is most likely a software bug. Anyone else running this over SSL?

Here's what you need to do.

1. Go to VPN/Security Management Solution->Administration->Configuration->Certificate change Certificate from "Common Services Certificate" to

"CiscoWorks 2000 Certificate"

2. Exit IE

3. From dos window 'net stop "cw2000 daemon manager"' (this can also be done from services control panel)

4. Restart 'net start "cw2000 daemon manager"

Thanks, I'll give it a try on Monday and let you know how it goes.
