my 501 has default config:

fixup protocol sip 5060, and

fixup protocol sip udp 5060

can anyone tell me the differenc between these two fixups and the STUN protocol which is what my sip phone supports?

do later versions of PIX support STUN?

THANKS!!!

Command Reference 6.3.x

See: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_command_reference_chapter09186a00801727a8.html#wp1067379

Fixup SIP:

SIP Enable or change the port assignment for the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for Voice over IP TCP connections.

UDP SIP is on by default and can be disabled and the port assignment is nonconfigurable. PIX Firewall Version 6.2 introduced PAT support for SIP.
