Hi saw your posting. I am hoping you have some insight into switches. I have some HP Procurve switches and I have two seperate subnets running across them. One is public the other is a private NAT ...all connecting to the same switches (10 total). I wanted to have a totally switched network, however, they only transmit MAC level info. The two subnets seem to have trouble passing traffic and ocassionaly the private IP ranges (NAT'ed through a Cisco 2611) drop connections.I have heard some talk of Spanning tree. Basically I have lots of questions...about VLANS etc....
