Web Page not coming up

I am having a strange problem over here. Users browse to a web site and nothing appears but a white screen or page. The bottom of the browser window says, "done" just like it would when loading a web page normally. Only there is nothing on the page. This happens to some people but not to all. This also happens to some people going through our proxy server and to people not going through our proxy server. This also happens to people using IE or Mozilla Firebird browser.

There is no consistancy what so ever. The user may not be able to view a site one day, and can view the site the next. PIX and internet router look fine, no overloads or errors anywhere. We are really scratching our heads here.

Hi,

First you need to track down, what site is giving you this trouble, then narrow down, what PCs are having this issue. Then find out what is the diferrence between these PCs and others. Try to bypass the proxy server. What is the history of this problem? What if there is any change on the system that caused this.

At first instance this seems to be an issue with a particular site and with particular pcs, mostly a browser and/or jave issue.
