I woke up this morning to see this video by Linus: My Channel Was Deleted Last Night. As you'll see, his channel is back up, but the short version is LTT was compromised and subscribers were seeing videos for crypto scams instead of the usual content you'd expect from Linus. This included several "live" broadcasts about Elon Musk and Bitcoin. And if that wasn't bad enough, almost a decade's worth of videos were deleted.

While I doubt many of us are managing large YouTube channels, there are some excellent thought exercises and learnings, especially when thinking about how someone might bypass authentication, including 2FA.
