AXIS Camera View in VSOM Shows Double Panorama in VSOM Version 7.11.1

Hi, I have an AXIS M3057-PLVE that all of a sudden started showing in VSOM as double panoramic view. When you go to the camera itself in the web interface it doesn't show that way and I don't see how to adjust the stream so it doesn't show that way in VSOM. If anyone knows how to change this I would appreciate the help, thanks!

To fix the double panoramic view appearing in VSOM for your AXIS M3057-PLVE, the key is to adjust the capture mode on the camera (not in VSOM itself). VSOM will display whatever streams the camera is offering.

Step 1: Choose a single-view capture mode on the camera
Open the camera’s web interface and log in as admin.

Navigate to Video > Installation > Capture mode (or similar path).

Change the mode from Double Panorama to Panorama or Overview depending on your preference.

Click Save and restart to apply the change.

This tells the camera to only generate the single panoramic stream, which VSOM should then display correctly.

Step 2: Verify the stream in VSOM
After the camera reboots, allow VSOM to refresh the live feed.

If it still shows two panoramic streams, VSOM might be exposing both ONVIF media profiles — one for panorama and one for double panorama.

(Optional) Step 3: Prune unused ONVIF profiles
Many cameras allow disabling specific media profiles via ONVIF or local config:

Use an ONVIF tool (Postman, ONVIF Device Manager) to inspect available profiles.

Disable or delete the extra one (e.g., double panorama) so only the desired stream remains.

Alternatively, inside the camera’s web interface under System or Video > Profiles, disable the double panorama profile if possible.
