VSM 7.2 ova

Hi ,

We are in a process of installing VSM 7.2 and VSMOM 7 on UCS C series using the VSM 7.2 OVA .

i am confused where there VSOM  is going to be? is that included in the VSM ova?  i am unable to find a software for VSOM 7 on Cisco's Website.

Can anyone suggest if i need another piece of software installed to get VSOM?

Yes; the VSOM components are within the OVA image.

  A Question :

if I want to install Standalone (VSOM) mode, I can use the OVA alone leave active service VSOM? 
Sta way I install VSM and VSOM on separate servers?

Hi,

Yes.  During the initial setup wizard, you can select the services to run on that particular VM instance.  For simplicity sake, Cisco has a unified image for all the VSM services (so far, as far as I can tell).  

Simply select the role/services you want on each instance.
