Layer 7 Firewall Rules Syslog

We would really like to track the event logs for our layer 7 firewall rules. We currently have this set up with syslog and InsightIDR for our layer 3 rules. It does not look like this is a possibility for layer 7 at the moment. Is there any way to collect these layer 7 logs?
