Is there a discord/forum/whatever anywhere where changes like the above are communicated ?

For stuff like this, other than the documentation release, users are made aware directly in the dashboard with a banner.

Administrators may also receive emails about it too.

For this one, If the ports change is starting from a certain firmware version, it will also be in the release notes for that upgrade.

Why would anybody need a Discord or whatever when this forum here is your single source of truth, even managed by Meraki?!

You may also want to click Subscribe to the Feature Announcements forum. This will provide you with email alerts when new posts are made. For example, the VPN Registry announcement was made in that forum back in May of 2023.
