Hi Team,

We having the Cisco 2821 Router installed at the Custome rsite & reported the high CPU utilisation that showing high percentage of interrupt so need the suggetion on the case.Attaching here the show version, show process cpu sorted, show process cpu history, show process cpu | exec 0.00, show logging for further analyze the case & suggest us on the same.

Is CEF enabled?

Are you doing any policy routing?

What is the combined total of throughput of all interfaces, in and out of the router?

Actually, can you just post the config?

What Philip is asking, if often the cause of high interrupt CPU, i.e. ISRs have a finite forwarding capacity.

Configuration options, can add to the load.  Which is why he asks the other questions.

On later IOS versions, I believe fragmentation is handled in the fast path (i.e. interrupt processed), so if that's happening, your CPU load will often be much increased.
