Hello,

there are 6 Network coming from a single microwave link. I have been given 2800 Cisco router to terminate this link so that local lan able to access these 6 network which is coming from 6 different location.

in a router there are 4 ports. 2 is Gigaport and 2 is controller E1/T1.   gigaport are already been used in local lan.

I Have only E1/T1 port. I am not familiar with these port. please let me the the same configuration we should do or they require any additional things.

and what should i do to access all the location??

thanks in advance

This is very vague, but what I am getting from it is that you have 6 networks coming from a microwave link but you are wanting a similar config going over a T1 now? If so can you post the config of the port that you are wanting to mirror?

hello,

thanx for reply,

i have attached the design please go through it i hope it will help to understand.

my concern is to use E1/T1 controller interface that is.

what configure we should do to access 6 different network.

What type of uplink do you have between router 5 and 6? Standard T1?

There are several aspects of this question that need clarification. For example the drawing shows 5 remote routers that seem to be what is connected via the microwave link. The question says there are 6 networks. Where is the other network? Also how is this microwave link working to carry these networks?

But I agree that the most important question is how are router 5 and router 6 connected?

The original poster says that he is not familiar with the T1/E1 port. Probably the most important thing to understand about it is that it is for connecting over a serial link. It may look like it might be an Ethernet type connection (the physical connector looks the same) but the wiring of the pins, and the voltages, and the signaling are quite different). So to use these T1/E1 ports you need to have a serial line connection.
