extended ping data patterns defined

Hi,

I am looking for information on data patterns used while performing extended pings.

So far this is all I can find:

0xffff = repeater power problems

0x0000 = line code mismatches

0x4040 = timing problems.

0x5555 = The alternating pattern represents a "typical" data pattern

Are these accurate and are there any more data patterns I can test with?

What are you pinging across? A frame relay set up or? Will depend on what patterns are worthwhile for each case.
