Frame Relay-mapping local interface

Hi,

During frame relay configuration, I came across one thing. I have to create dlci in order to map the local interface.

What's the reason behind it?

What do you exactly mean by "create dlci in order to map the local interface"? Can you give us the set of commands you are using to accomplish this? It will probably be then easier to understand. Thanks!

The service provider should give you the local DLCI number if you are using the Frame Relay as a PVC

please give more details
