Getting an error on Cisco Router 881 ## Readonly ##

Hello,

I am getting below error in cisco router 881.

C880 platform with 262144 Kbytes of main memory

Readonly ROMMON initialized
rommon 1 >

I am not able to type any command on rommon 1>.

please share your experience please

Hi

The cause might be there is a no valid or corrupted IOS or the config register is not 0x2102, try executing the command: boot and then press enter.

Thanks for your prompt replies.

at read only prompt i was not able to type any command so then i put it up and running state as it is for one day..... and now finaly i got the console password prompt..... hahahaha

now i am able to login...
