Hi everyone,
i want to configure a router with the following configuration options. which IOS should be selected in each option?
1. Cisco1941 with basic IOS
2. Cisco1941 with advance IP IOS

thnaks for quick response.
i want to configure a cisco1941 with basic IOS. i think this should be cisco1941/k9 with the normal IOS universal image.
then i want to configure cisco1941 with an advance IP IOS. how can i go about this one?

Hi,
you don't configure such a thing you have to activate the licence for the image you got.

hi alain,
i have gone through the cisco web link..
how can i activate the license for this image on the ciscp1941.
should i select the data license(SL-19-DATA-K9) plus the security license(SL-19-SEC-K9)?

Hi,
You can order multilple PAKs in one license if needed to combine multiple features into a single license file. Adv IP services traslates into SEC+ UC +DATA package.

Hi,
As per Ivan above, you can combine in a Pak multiple licenses and very possibly in your case DATA plus Security will be the one required. However, before buying the license check the features with Cisco navigator to be sure you get what you pay for. As per IOS, I do like the 15.2T series. I did implement it with the sec license and I was very happy about it.
