Hello, could someone explain how Cisco RTU licenses work?
I have an ASR1001X with temporary licenses. This is also affecting the throughput rate, which drops from 10G to 2.5G. Smart Licensing is disabled.
From what I understand, the RTU license is tied to the equipment UDI, but I am not sure about the correct procedure to purchase it. Where can this license be bought? How can I permanently activate it on this device?
The goal is to use the adventerprise license for BNG operation.
I would appreciate any guidance.

Hello @ECS-nexos
Cisco RTU licenses are an honor‑based licensing model where features like adventerprise and higher throughput levels are built into the IOS‑xe software and activated locally by accepting the EULA through configuration commands without requiring smart lcensing or uploading a separate license file...
Temporary eval licenses may initially limit throughput, but once the RTU license is accepted, the features remain permanently active, and for compliance or optional smart license reporting, permanent licenses or throughput upgrades can be purchased via your cisco reseller using the appropriate license part numbers tied to the device model, though the license itself is not physically instaled or tied strictly to the UDI...
