Dear Forum,
I wonder if someone might be able to assist me with a question I have.
I have a head office which connects to remote offices using MPLS. This is a managed service and I do not have write access to these routers (cisco 1800) series. At each of the sites, head office and remote I also have an internet leased line and a Cisco ASA. This provides me with local access to the internet for eac of the sites and it gives me the opportunity to create VPN between the sites as a back up connection in the event of the MPLS line being unavailable.
However can I create a failover so that no manual intervention is required? This Cisco ASA is the default gateway for the hosts at each of the sites so I can use this to make routing decisions
I have attached a simple diagram of my environment
Thank you for reading and thank you for any suggestions
David
