Port autonegotiation debug

Is there any debug command that can show me the speed and duplex negotiation on a Cisco Switch port?

Link negotiation (or auto negotiation = AN) takes place between the remote device and the Port-ASIC.

It is independent of the OS or SUP being used.

The AN "code words" are encoded using FLP (fast link pulses) between the even pulses and are layer 1.

As I understand auto-negotiation should not take more than 1 sec as the devices generate pulses every 16 msec.

I do not expect the IOS to have negotiation specific debugs.

I don't believe there is an debug option for showing the negotiations. but there are show commands

show speed etc.
