Rip Version 2 configuration is gone

i have 1 router that have 2 type of routing (static, ripv2) i did "do copy running-config startup-config" and "do write" but when i reopen the file, the rip configuration is empty there is nothing except the static routing... please help

Hi

Actually only router 3 has no RIP configured. To configure RIP is simple:

router rip

version 2

network 192.168.131.0

Using this file attached you can ping from one site to another.

Do not use "Do" in command lines, Move to global config mode and save configs.  "Do" shortcut command was added recently.

are you transferring file from PT 7.x to 8 ?   Occasionally those will miss some lines.

Remember, PT is just a simulator of IOS not real thing.
