Hello looking for a cheap cisco solution to upgrade from a 2651xm. currently we  are using 2911  to replace but, I think its a bit overkill for what we need and look for  good solution that's cost effective with sacrificing performance something under 1k.

requirements is t1 circuit any may move over the Ethernet

no Telco

10 -15 users

dynamic routing

currently using a 2960x switch

I was thinking something in the 800 series

Hi

You could get a Cisco 1921 or 1941 if you will not pass a lot of traffic. I suggest verify the EoL as well.

Also check this link:

Hope it is useful

the 1900 series are EOL and about to be EOS so not a good idea to replace with those.

Hello,

you can use the Cisco Router Selector, this will give you at least an indication:

The 880ISR series might be sufficient, prices vary between 400 and 600 dollars...

Routers should be sized by your bandwidth needs. An 800 series can easily handle a T1's bandwidth, Ethernet, FE or gig, may be an issue.

Cisco recommends the 860(/870) series for up to 4 Mbps, the 880 series for up to 8 Mbps and the 890 series for up to 15 Mbps.

Why would I replace a router with one of the same age and life expectancy.

Why would you recommend a router that is EOL?

I didn't recommend, I only noted various 800 series performance capacity as OP mentioned 800 series were being considered.
