switch mode issue

I have an cisco switch (1900 series) with ios version 8.4. i want to configure any one port of switch as access port. but as i enter in interface i am not able to get switchport mode command. i am getting switching option like store & forward , and segment free option. now what to do.

Hi Web,

i would say that you need to do a big jump back to how the networks were built 10+ years ago... By the way the 1900 series was really brilliant!!! i'd suggest to use the menu to configure the switch because as far as i remember it was more complete than the CLI.
