Hi folks,
While loop testing the line with the carrier, ISP say they saw sync loss n they restarted the tester. The line has been unstable for more than 2 days. After loop test finish they line was clean.
Also PE router detects input error n crc error n number of aborts.
Only guessing will b fine as I won't be able to provide logs:(

It suggests that the link level clocking is incorrect. or cabling issues.

hi miller,
Thank u very much for ur reply. I was able to few infos. I was told that CE wan interface had taken errors but tunnel interface on CE was clean with zero errors.
Carrier is saying they will change Ntu but I think we need further isolation. Currently they r giving us soft loop remotely from CE ntu. They say they cannot provide loop from LE right now. What do u think?

Every carrier has a different "best practice" for drilling down on issues. just keep after them.
If the carrier is responsible for the CE router, then its on them to make sure the handoff is ok.
If its yours, then make sure the cabling to the network interface is 100% clean.

hi Miller,
Currently carrier giving us loop from le or me (currently verifying). Noc is testing the line. I will update u with test results.
Btw noc said they detected just sync loss every 30 minutes when they tested line with the loop from CE Ntu provided by carrier.
Any suggestions of faulty point on that.

Carrier replaced the NTU at CE site which resolved the issue.
Thanks
