Core issue
Network Admission Control (NAC) with the Cisco Trust Agent (CTA) using 802.1x is unable to authenticate Novell clients through the Active Directory (AD). Novell clients that attempt to log into Novell servers before they login to the AD cannot authenticate.
Resolution
The CTA currently does not support Novell authentication.
As a workaround, change the login sequence of the PC with these steps:
1. Disable the Novell client.
2. Login to the AD first.
3. Login through the Novell client
