Problem

User able to capture packets and save the capture files when WebVpn is configured but unable to open the capture files using browser. Getting the error "Error: Access-method is not supported for WebVPN captures" when trying to view the captured file using browser. Why does this happen and how can we view these capture files?

Resolution

User will not be able to open the WebVpn capture files using a browser as it is not supported. The WebVpn capture files gets saved a zip files and the user needs to unzip the files to view the content of the capture files. Refer to Cisco Bug CSCtg79320 for more information.
