What is ACL?
Access lists are lists of conditions that control access. They are capable to control access both to and from network segments. They filter unwanted packets and is used to implement security policies.
Types of ACL
- Standard access lists
- Extended access lists
- Inbound access lists
- Outbound access lists
Problem
You can use Radius server to enforce authorization attributes , including access-lists (ACLs), on many Cisco security devices such as ASA/PIX/IOS VPN servers and firewalls.
