Resolution
The contexts on an FWSM cannot be renamed because no such command is currently supported.
These workarounds can be used for this issue:
- Copy the configuration into Notepad, change the name of the context, and then cut and paste the configuration back into the FWSM. Remove the old context and keep the new one.
- Remove the context name with the no context command. Create a new context with the context command. Then re-use the .cfg file from the old context.
Note: It is not possible to remove the current admin context with the no context command. The admin context can only be removed if all of the contexts are removed with the clear configure context command.
