Core issue
This issue occurs when teaming of Network Interface Cards (NICs) are enabled before the Cisco Security Agent (CSA) is installed.
Resolution
CSA supports network load balancing and server cluster for Windows 2003 and 2000 server platforms.
To resolve the issue, perform these steps:
- Disable teaming.
- Install CSA (preferably without the network shim).
Network shim is a very small piece of code that opens a socket and translates between network packets and internal data formats.
3. Enable teaming.
Note: Component load balancing, as well as Solaris and Linux clusters are not officially supported.
