Hello all, 

Based on this document: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/web/tac/tac-customer-file-uploads.html#cxd, I need a Auth Token to be able to use ServiveGrid API. Problem is the ServiceGrid documentations seems to not exist, (Note: An Auth Token is required to call any Cisco ServiceGrid API. For details on obtaining an Auth Token, consult the Cisco ServiceGrid documentation.)

Do you know where I can find more info or how to request this Auth Token?

I've worked with Cisco TAC integrations before, and in this situation I wouldn't expect the ServiceGrid Auth Token to be something you can simply generate from the normal Cisco developer portal.

The important distinction is that ServiceGrid is a Cisco support/TAC backend service, so access is generally tied to an authorized Cisco support account/application rather than a standard public API key.

I'd suggest starting from the Cisco TAC Customer File Upload documentation and, if the ServiceGrid documentation link referenced there is no longer available, opening a TAC/support case asking specifically for:

ServiceGrid API authentication / Auth Token provisioning for the TAC Customer File Upload API

Include your Cisco Support account/CCO ID and explain what API you're trying to call. Ask TAC to confirm whether your account is eligible for ServiceGrid API access and what the current token-generation/provisioning process is.

I would not try to generate or reuse an Auth Token from another Cisco service. ServiceGrid tokens can be provisioned differently, and using the wrong authentication mechanism will typically result in authorization failures.

Also, don't post an existing token, client secret, or other authentication details publicly. Those should only be exchanged through Cisco's secure support channels.

The documentation referring to ServiceGrid but no longer providing an accessible authentication guide is worth mentioning to TAC as well—it may indicate that the API is intended for approved Cisco support integrations rather than general public use.
