Hi
We are planning the backup strategy of DNAC (version 1.3.1.4) and ISE (version 2.6) for our SDA deployment. Could someone please suggest the following
1. Maximum backup file size for DNAC and ISE (In the 1.0 documentation of DNAC at following URL 30 GB is specified as the maximum backup file size, however this is not specified in the later releases https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/cloud-systems-management/network-automation-and-management/dna-center/1-0-x/b_dnac_ug_1_0/b_dnac_ug_1_0_chapter_010000.pdf)
2. How to configure backup purge settings for DNAC and ISE, so that after x number of days the oldest backup gets over written. Are there any default settings?
Thanks
SS

1. Not sure about the exact backup size with new version but Cisco recommends using 1TB storage for backup server. (see PDF)
2. When I did, I do remember Cisco TAC gave me a script to delete 6th backup automatically. this was a while ago, I will see if I can find in case notes, else you can take help from TAC on this.
