Cisco 5520 WLC integration into Cisco DNA Brownfield

We are looking at integrating our WLC into DNA and just making sure we have all the information before we progress with the process.

Are you still able to manage the WLC manually after it has been provisioned by DNA or is DNA the only way to manage afterwards?

Are there any caveats that people have found when bringing existing WLC and APs into DNA?

We have 2 WLC units setup in SSO, is this configuration able to be learned from DNA or does it need to be set up again?

Hi

  First of all, DNAC is a good fit if you are working with Fabric. Fabric is a whole new concept in network campus and it worth take a look.

 Otherwise, you can integrate WLC with DNAC using the Assurance Feature where DNAC works like Cisco Prime.  5520 WLC need to run version 8.10.151.0  in order to be manged by DNAC 2.1.2.6.
