SDA Fabric Configuration in Layer 2 setup

Since I am new to SDAccess fabric world just putting up a weird question. Is there by any means we can run a SDA fabric in a layer 2 setup (by configuring the different IP pool subnet's gateway in a L3 switch or firewall outside the fabric).

For that one you do not need SD-Acces you can setup traditional way and and have over to border node in SD-Access.

SD-access Fabric more of combination of Underlay - Overlay and using VXLAN to fix some limitation in exiting archtechture.
