Hello, I am having trouble using telnet to connect to a remote server. Whenever I try to connect, I receive an error message stating that the connection was refused. I have tried multiple times and have confirmed that the remote server is up and running. Its important as my client site is attacked I thing and I need to look into it asap!
Steps Taken:
- Checked network connectivity to the remote server and confirmed that it is up and running.
- Checked firewall settings to ensure that telnet traffic is allowed.
- Tried using different ports to connect, but still received the same error message.
Expected Outcome: I should be able to successfully connect to the remote server using telnet.
Actual Outcome: I am unable to connect to the remote server using telnet.
Additional Information: I am using a Windows operating system and have successfully used telnet in the past to connect to this remote server. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
