How do you check the IP and serial number on of the MDS switch

The serial number of your Cisco MDS 9000 Family switch can be obtained by looking at the serial number label on the back of the switch (next to the power supply), or by executing the operating system show sprom backplane 1 command.

switch# show sprom backplane 1

or

Use the show inventory command to view information on the field replaceable units (FRUs) in the switch, including product IDs, serial numbers, and version IDs.

switch# show inventory

IP Address: 

switch#show interface brief

then check interface mgmt0

Do you mean reset of the switch ? or a user ?

I mean one of the admin user account might be locked or forgot his password. How can I reset his password or enable his account and how can I see the attributes of the account
