Brocade/Broadcom does not support connectivity between Brocade SAN switch and Cisco SAN switches unless NPIV is used.
Either Cisco SAN switch needs to be converted to NPIV with trunking F-port to Brocade SAN switch in full fabric mode or vice versa. If you must have both SAN switches in full fabric mode (ie., regular switch operation), then you should contact
Cisco MDS TAC support for issues. Per my experience, Brocade/Broadcom will not support such a configuration.
(Also the last Cisco MDS Switch interop guide that I could find lists only Brocade 2400, 2800, 3200, and 3800 switches for interop mode 2. )

Please check here for interop matrix: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/mds9000/interoperability/matrix/intmatrx/Matrix5.html. If your FOS and NX-OS versions and platforms are not listed, you may want to move one of the vendor switches to NPV/access-gateway mode. More possibilities are possible if you reach out to your Cisco rep and ask for additional help.
