Copper SFPs ?

Hi,

has anyone ever used copper SFP in an IPS card? I know it is unsuppported but has anyone actually tried it?

The copper SFP is supported on the gigE ports of 9216i, 9222i and IPS linecards. Part DS-SFP-GE-T=.

I am currently using 16x copper sfp's in a pair of 8 port IPS'
