After restarting server the web client is unavailable.
When stopping and starting the DCNM using the shortcuts "Start DCNM Servers" / "Stop DCNM Servers" the application stops fine, but the "DCNM Server Status" splash page does not continue. It hangs on "Checking DCNM Server Status"
Any recommendations on troubleshooting?
Thanks!

Hi Tony,
DCNM is not able to start after the services are stopped. Is that correct?
Does the DCNM startup ever show an error?
Is the LAN client or SAN client available even if the web client isn't?
Is DCNM using a postgres database and has the postgres database been vacuumed recently?
A postgres vacuum is the most common fix to DCNM startup issues: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/cloud-systems-management/prime-data-center-network-manager-61/118414-technote-dcnm-00.html
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks for the input Eric!
1. DCNM does start, and the services are running. The Cisco DCNM LAN and SAN Server services are both running .
2. I don't notice any issue with the DCNM startup other than the splash screen hanging. I am not sure what log file I would look at to verify.
3. The SAN Client which is what we use is available. It is just the web client that we have issue with.
4. Yes we are using the postgres database. We haven't done any maintenance to the database yet as the installation is relatively new.

Hi Tom,
How recent is the installation? A postgres vacuum should be run every one or two weeks. It will probably help.
