I am kinda new to Cisco Switches. If a single VSAN is spread across multiple switches ISLed together, does the VSAN will have different domain ID's on each switch ?
Ex: Switch-1 and Switch-2 are connected together and I need to setup VSAN 10. Does the doamin ID for VSAN 10 will be different on each switch ?
Appreciate y'r response

Yes, each switch in vsan 10 will have it's own DID. Since vsan is a the same thing as what once was a physical san, if you had 2 switches and physically had ISL between them, then they would each have a DID. But we now move this into a logical world and the same concept holds. The only difference is that we have moved what had been a physical separation, we know make a logical separation with VSANs.
