I have a new Project in our company and we need for file system storage solutions and we not have any info from Managers ,

and I need to know what is type of VMware to configure it and what is the the operating system will installed in this VMware with all details ,
What information should I get from Managers .
Note : this is a new Project and we should prepare BOM .
