I have a customer that swears he is having a problem with SCSI aborts.
His host reports - Sep 27 00:26:27 cs13-db1-1-phx kernel: qla2xxx [0000:07:00.1]-801c:1: Abort command issued nexus=1:1:31 -- 1 2002.
The switch shows no discards, errors, credit loss in either show tech details or logging onboard.
Customer is certain that he is having an issue with the ASICs in mod 4 (either ports 1-8 or ports 33-40).
Are there any commands to review these ASICs.
The switch is a 9710, running 6.2.15, and the module in question is a DS-X9448-768K9

were you able to find this information?

Greetings.
Many times aborts are issued because the storage processors were not able to respond in time before threshhold timers were reached.
You may want to run the following to see if you have issues with slow drain or B2B credit depletion:
#show tech slowdrain
#show logging onboard flow-control timeout-drops
#attach module 4
#show hardware internal fc-mac port 3 statistics | include LACK_OF_TRANSMIT_CREDIT
#show hardware internal up-xbar 0 asic-info
Thanks,
Kirk...
