MDS 9000 and Cisco ACS Authentication

I'm currently using an MDS 9216. I've configured a Cisco Secure ACS 3.1 (Access Control Server) for AAA authentication and accounting.

ACS works fine authenticating users accessing the switch using Telnet. However, users accessing the switch using the Device Manager don't seem to be authenticated by ACS and still need their username to be created by running the following command on MDS:

snmp-server user admin network-admin auth ...

Is there something I'm missing here. Is it possible to authenticate the Device Manager users using ACS?

Looks like this issue has been kicked around within the Cisco email archives the past few days. Short answer is no, the ACS cannot be used for the SNMP V3 on the MDS. Looks like there will be help coming in MDS release 2.0 Please talk to your local Cisco SE on this.
